Salon visit or home visit — which to choose
Some professionals come to you, some see you at their salon, and some do both. Here's how to tell the difference and book the option that suits you.
Not every appointment has to happen in a salon. On Bellora, each service can be offered in one of three ways, and the professional decides which — so you’ll always know before you book.
The three options
- At the salon — you go to the professional’s location. You’ll see the exact address and directions on their profile and in your booking.
- Home visit — the professional comes to you. You provide your address at checkout.
- Both — you choose which you’d prefer when you book.
You can see how a service is offered right on the booking screen, so there are no surprises.
Booking a home visit
When you pick a home visit:
- Choose home visit on the service (if the professional offers both).
- Enter the address where you’d like to be seen.
- Review the details — including any travel fee — before you confirm.
About the travel fee
A home visit may include a small travel fee to cover the professional coming to you. When it applies, it’s shown clearly at checkout and included in your total before you pay — never added afterwards. If you don’t see a travel fee, there isn’t one.
Which should you choose?
- Pick a salon visit for the full setup — specialist equipment, a wash station, the complete experience.
- Pick a home visit for convenience — getting ready for an event, a tight schedule, or simply preferring your own space.
Either way, the price you agree to at checkout is the price you pay.
