Deposits and payments

How deposits work on Bellora, why they protect both sides, and how your payment is handled securely through Stripe — Bellora never stores your card details.

Booking on Bellora is backed by a small deposit. It’s not an extra charge — it’s part of your service price, paid early to hold your slot. Here’s exactly how it works.

What a deposit is

When you confirm a booking, you pay a deposit — a portion of the service price. It:

  • Holds your slot so the time is genuinely yours.
  • Protects the professional against last-minute no-shows.
  • Goes toward the final price — you’re paying part of the service early, not paying more.

The deposit amount is always shown before you confirm.

Paying the rest

The remaining balance is settled for your service as agreed with the professional — you’ll see the full price and what’s left to pay right on your booking.

Secure by design

Payments run through Stripe, a global payments provider. That means:

  • Your full card details go straight to Stripe — Bellora never sees or stores them.
  • Your payment is encrypted and handled to industry security standards.

Home visits and travel fees

If your booking is a home visit, a travel fee may apply. When it does, it’s shown in your total before you pay — never added afterwards. See salon vs. home visit for more.
