If a booking doesn’t go ahead, here’s how refunds work and where to find a record of what you’ve paid.
When you get a refund
Whether your deposit comes back depends on the professional’s cancellation policy, which you agree to when you book:
- Cancel within the free window — your deposit is refunded in full.
- Cancel late, or don’t show — the deposit may be kept, since the slot was held for you.
- The professional cancels — you’re refunded in full.
The policy is always shown before you confirm, so you know where you stand.
How long a refund takes
Refunds are issued back to your original payment method through Stripe. The money usually lands within a few business days, depending on your bank.
Finding your receipts
Every payment and refund is recorded on the booking itself, under your appointments. Open an appointment to see what was paid, when, and its current status — a clear trail for your records.
