Rescheduling or cancelling a booking

Plans change. Here's how to move or cancel an appointment, how the professional's cancellation policy works, and what happens to your deposit.

Life happens. Bellora lets you move or cancel an appointment yourself — no phone calls needed. What happens to your deposit depends on the professional’s policy, which you can always see before you book.

Rescheduling

  1. Open the booking under your appointments.
  2. Choose reschedule and pick a new open slot.
  3. Confirm — your deposit moves with you to the new time.

Rescheduling keeps your deposit; you’re simply choosing a different slot.

Cancelling

  1. Open the booking under your appointments.
  2. Choose cancel and confirm.

Whether your deposit is refunded depends on how far ahead you cancel and the professional’s cancellation policy.

How the cancellation policy works

Every professional sets their own policy, shown on the booking before you confirm. Typically:

  • Cancel early (within the free window) — your deposit is refunded.
  • Cancel late — the deposit may be kept, since the professional held that time for you and may not be able to fill it.

Because the policy is always visible up front, there are no surprises.

No-shows

Not showing up counts as a late cancellation — the deposit protects the professional’s time. If something goes wrong on the day, cancel as early as you can to give the slot a chance to be rebooked.
